  1. This summer I travelled to Madrid for three days with my family and a friend. The first morning we went shopping and in the afternoon we visited some places of Madrid. The second day we went to the Warner Bros park. It was really funny because I was with my parents, my two little brothers, a girl who come from Russia to stay in my house all the summer and my best friend.
The last week of my summer holidays I've been in Asturias with my best friend and her parents. We visited beautiful places like Lastres.
The rest of the summer I met with my friend in Torrelavega and I went 3 days to the beach because the weather was awful.

This summer I have travel more than other summers.I went to Madrid with my friend Laura and her family for three days.We visited the Warner and we had a great time there. When we were coming back home we had problems.Suddenly the car didn't work so we had to wait for three hours in a petrol station for somebody to come to take us home.I also went to France in August.I went there to visit my cousin in Nantes because she's had two babies and we wanted to see them.I went with my parents and my sister. It took us eight hours and a half to get there because we were travelling by car.
In September I went to Oviedo for four days to visit my sister.Obviously apart from that, this summer I have gone to the beach ,to the cinema... I definitely love my summer'11 memories!

  3. This year I had a busy summer, I've been to two different places apart from Torrelavega. First, I went to England with some friends and we stayed there for three weeks. I leart some english and i made a lot of friends from all over the world. After going to England, I took a plane in Madrid and I arrive at the JFK airport in New York. I had a really good time there, it was so amazing! I saw a musical on Broadway, I went to the Statue of Liberty, I took photos on the Top of The Rockefeller and lots of tipical things that tourist do there, but the thing that I won't forget in my life is that I went from the coast to Times Square by limusine! Then I came back to Spain and I started school, it isn't now as funny as it was the summer but we've got summer in 9 months!

  5. This summer, when I was in Liverpool with some friends, there were some people in the street who were wearing clothes like pirates and zombies. Apparently, they didn't do anything to people, just walking along the street. But, suddenly, a woman, who was riding a car, went out of it and she hit one of the men who were disguised. We listened to the woman and she had done that because, a few minutes or hours before, he had frightened her little daughter, who was only 4 years old. Strange people who does crazy things!

  6. My summer
This summer was the craziest, funniest and unfortunately, the shortest summer of all my life.
I traveled a lot, so now, at school, I´m very happy, because I´m going to stay at home some days. I saw many cities, but I´m just going to talk about Edinburgh and Biarritz.
Edinburgh is the most beautiful city I had never seen. There are a lot of castles, and people take care of them, so they are in good conditions. There aren´t any flats, everyone lives in houses, it doesn’t matter if they are outside the city or in the center of it. Shops close too early, about half past five. Is the same with the restaurants, they aren’t open until late. But … They are horrible! Every kind of food is fast food, chips, sauce and there are no fish and no olive oil!! That is the worst thing. I can´t be a person without eat for breakfast some bread with oil!! So, you star with the butter, then with eggs and chips, and finally with orange juices with a lot of sugar, so when you came home you have two more kilos inside your dear belly. People there are very polite, and I hate that! Why? Because you never see people laughing our chilling, it appears like if they don´t live… Well, of course they do, but I´m a Spanish girl with a Spanish mind!
Biarritz!!!! I love you!!! Edinburgh is more beautiful than Biarritz, but Biarritz´s beach, can´t be compared with anyone. But I don´t want to talk about the city. I want to speak about the “ville du anglet” that is a big village. In that village, there is a golf course called Chiberta, that every year organized a very important international tournament. I played the tournament without any expectative of win, but ¡surprise! I won it!! I couldn´t believe that, I beat some really good players that played world tournaments. Everyone was happy, because French people likes that a small girl win.
And that’s all! No!! It isn´t, but you know? Summer has three months, so I can’t bored you talking about every single thing that happened to me! In conclusion: I love, summer, I love to travel, and I love Spain!

  7. This summer I went to Bubal, a little village situate in Huesca. There forty nine students between 13-16 years of all parts of Spain and I, work in a project named "Proyecto de Recuperación de Pueblos Abandonados" during the first two weeks of July. We hat to do the works that a normal village has.
For example: build a new stable for the animals, do the cleaning of streets, to cook or look after plants. But also we have time to talk and play with the other teenagers, some days we went to the lake where we could swim, paddle or practise kye surf.

It was a great experience that finished before anyone thought, unfortunalety. And we could do a lot of new friends, enjoyed with the great moments that passed together.

  8. This summer was awesome for me, I went to England and I had a lot of fun. I had three amazing weeks speaking in several languages, learning some English and meeting people from all over the world. I had an amazing family and I lived with a Russian girl and a Swiss girl. We visited a lot of interesting places such as Liverpool and three themes parks; one of them was Alton Towers, the best theme park in Britain! :) It was also amazing in Spain because despite the fact that the weather wasn't very sunny, I went to the beach and enjoyed it a lot!

  9. This summer I went to Plymouth with the school for the third time. It was shorter than other years but we had fun anyway. We always meet a lot of people, most of them Spanisn, and keep in touch after coming back to Spain.
My host family is very nice. I usually send them a letter or a postcard and, in special occasions, I phone them.
There, we had lessons everyday , but just a few hour, and then we did activities such as going to the cinema, tile painting, visiting musseums...
It was so sad to leave, because we knew we won't come back next year.

  11. This summer wasn't very good because of the weather. It was awful! When the weather was good, I went to La Concha or Los Locos, but I usually prefer La Concha because is more calm. When the weather was bad, like rainning, I meet my friends and we went to one of our houses to see a movie or something like that. Other times, we went to the cinema to see some movie too. This summer, I watched the last film of Harry Potter and Super 8. The first one was amazing! I read all Harry Potter books, and I think they did the movie of the last book very well!
In general, my summer was a bit boring, so I hope next summer will be better! :)
